The Great Journey
Good afternoon everyone. Well its Tuesday and I gotta say its been a crazy day so far. Ive seen two wrecks on the road, one of them looking pretty serious. People seem to be losing their minds durring this pandemic. Hopefully they start coming up with a vaccine soon so people can start getting back to some kind of normal. I live in Cincinnati, and the governor has just mandated that we were masks pretty much everywhere. Though I do agree with the governor because coronavirus cases have been on the rise. We need to all work together so we can be rid of this virus.
On a bright note, I will be filming my Disney Talk Tuesday vlog today on YouTube. Excited to bring some cheer to people that are having trouble finding it. If you would like to check out my channel, here is my link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZyYhxcwEfhS3_s3ZvgQj9Q
I post these videos on YouTube every Tuesday at 8 am eastern time.
My wife Jessica and I are huge Disney fans. We travel to Disney World at least once a year. Sometimes 2-3 times a year. It is our happy place. There is nothing else like it. We usually drive, and it takes us about thirteen hours. Mostly because we drive straight through. Seems long but we have a lot of fun on the way down. We play games, and try to stop at all of the Welcome Centers when we enter a new state. We pass through Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and finally Florida. Georgia is the longest part of our drive. It is a long stretch, but it is so worth it when we see that Welcome to Florida sign.
Once we reach the Florida line it takes roughly four hours to get to the most magical place on earth. We hit that turnpike off of interstate 75 south, and it is smooth sailing the rest of the way to Disney World. There is no feeling like passing under the "Welcome to Walt Disney World" sign. I look over at Jessica every time and say, "We're home!" I usually have to pull up my "maps" app on my phone because they are always changing routes on Disney property. Normally we have stayed on their property over the years, but as of recently we stay at other hotels off property to save a little money. Our last trip we stayed at The Rosen Inn up by Universal Studios, and it was beautiful. Plus we were only 10 minutes from Disney.
This photo is one of my favorites as we are in front of Cinderella's Castle! This is where our dreams our brought to life. With the fireworks, the parades, the food, the fun, the magic. It is everything we love wrapped up in one place. This is where I realized I had found the love of my life. I knew at this moment that I was going to spend the rest of my life, with the woman of my dreams. I had found my Happily Ever After!!
